Hyena Road - Release date 2015 - Buffilo Gals, and Rhomus Media

Assistant Location Manager

On the movie Hyena Road I work with a great team helping making the days of shooting in Manitoba possible.

I was based in Shilo, Manitoba for the 2 months, working closely with the military.

I had the opportunity to work with Paul Gross, Richard O'Brian-Moran, and Ellen Rutter, and a great crew that helped guide and mentor me throughout the film.

Prep:

- negotiations for filming locations

- location set up and ensuring the crew had what they needed for filming

- Ordering the facilities and supplies that supported the crew for filming

Production:

- Lead a small locations team making sure the location was properly maintained

- Organized the security for sets and equipment

- Ensured everything was in order for the other departments

Wrap

- Ensure that no traces of the film or crew were left behind

- All of the contacts and locations where happy with the work that we had done.
